The town of Londonderry is seeking high quality photos of people, places and things in the community. People are invited to submit photos to potentially use on the town’s economic development site.

Artist’s work is on display at library

Goffstown artist Jenn Vigneau currently has her works of art on display through the month at Leach Library. The library hosts monthly exhibits featuring artists from Londonderry and around the region.

New librarian welcomed

Leach Library welcomed a new reference librarian recently. Megan Keely Carroll joined the Leach staff and will work in the reference department.

Carroll will work on programming at the library, getting guest speakers and programs in place, and sending out media announcement for library programs.

Veterans to be honored May 29

A veterans celebration barbecue is planned May 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Londonderry Fish and Game, 5 Lund St., Litchfield.

Gold Star mothers will be in attendance to speak to veterans. Call 703-5115 for information.

Sen. Ayotte staff comes to town

U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, will have a member of her staff holding office hours in town Friday, May 30, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the town offices, 268B Mammoth Road.

Residents interested in meeting with Ayotte’s staff can stop by during that time or call Simon Thomson at 880-3335 to schedule an appointment.

Checklist supervisors in session

Tuesday, June 3 is the final day for voters to change their party affiliation before the September primary election.

The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session that day at the town clerk’s office from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for party changes and to register new voters.

New voters should bring proof of citizenship, identity, and residency.

Summer fun begins at library

Leach Library on Mammoth Road hosts a program for children, “Create Your Own Celestial Wind Chimes,” Thursday, June 12, at 4 p.m.

Children will be able to create a wind chime to take home. Call 432-1127 to register for the program.

Book bingo planned at Leach

Leach Library on Mammoth Road hosts a Summer Book Bingo event for children Monday, June16, at 4 p.m.
