Aviation Museum hosts Second Saturday
The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, 27 Navigator Road, offers a program on the Triple Tree Aerodome presented by museum president Bob Hough.
The event is May 10 at 11 a.m. and is part of the museums Second Saturday at the Museum series.
“Triple Tree Aerodrome and Other Fun Flying Adventures” will be held in the museum’s Slusser Aviation Learning Center and is free with regular museum admission price. Call 669-4820 for information.
Legion’s monthly meeting is May 12
The American Legion Post 27, 6 Sargent Road, holds its monthly meeting May 12 at 7:30 p.m.
All Legionnaires are invited to attend.
Buy and sell gently used toys
The Londonderry Women’s Club hosts its annual toy swap and sale May 17 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Matthew Thornton Elementary School gym.
Gently used bikes, toys, sporting good and baby items will be for sale. The swap proceeds go to support the YMCA.
Fiddler performs for seniors May 19
Londonderry’s Senior Center welcomes Prince Edward Island fiddler Cynthia MacLeod and singer/songwriter Jon Matthews to the center May 19 at 1 p.m.
Admission is free.
Seating is limited, so call 432-8554 to reserve space.
Memorial Day in Londonderry
The town’s annual Memorial Day celebration and parade is May 26.
All veterans are invited to march in the parade. Legion members will muster at the post home on Sargent Road at 9 a.m.
The parade steps off from the Londonderry High School at 10 a.m. A cookout at the post home follows the parade and memorial observances.
Legion seeks new members
The American Legion Post 27 is actively seeking new members who have the appropriate military service dates. The Legion also welcomes men whose fathers or grandfathers are eligible for membership as well as women related to qualified members. These two groups can join the Sons of the American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary, respectively.
