---- — Concert supports music programs

On May 24, a special concert was performed at Whippersnappers to celebrate Bob Dylan’s 72nd birthday, and to raise money for a great cause, music in schools programs.

Proceeds went to support the Brad Delp Foundation and the Lisa Guyer Music Empowerment Program, both working to support the arts and to bring money to school programs along with grants and scholarships.

Performers, including Beatlejuice, Charlie Farren and The Fools, took the Whippersnappers’ stage and sang the music of Bob Dylan.

“Spreading the songs of Dylan through benefits like this is a passion,” event organizer Bobby Livingston said. “I’ve been hosting these birthday celebrations since 1996 and with the amazing lineup this year; we expected this year to be the best yet. So many talented musicians are thrilled to be a part of supporting these two great causes.”
