Comedy night to help veterans
The Londonderry Rotary Club and Granite State South Board of Realtors are presenting a comedy night to benefit veterans’ charities on April 26 at the Yard in Manchester.
The night features entertainer Tony Pace. Money raised will benefit Liberty House, the Vet to Vet program and Homes for Our Troops. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.

Yoga for seniors starts week of April 30
The Londonderry Senior Center and Greater Londonderry YMCA offer yoga classes to the senior community.
Barbara Scott and Lisa Kress will conduct an eight-week series of affordably priced yoga classes, which are designed especially for 55-and-older individuals to help increase flexibility and strength, as well as maintaining well-being.
Sign up for either the Tuesday or Thursday class, or both. The new sessions begin the week of April 30 , from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Londonderry YMCA, 106 Rockingham Road.

Calling all young anglers May 5
The Londonderry Fish and Game Club hosts its 30th annual free children’s fishing derby on May 5 from 8 a.m. to noon at the club’s facility in Londonderry. The event is held rain or shine.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with fishing action starting at 9 a.m.
The derby is open to young anglers ages 14 and under, accompanied by an adult. Both Fish and Game Club and the state stock the pond before the derby with various types of fish.
Refreshments will be available and prizes will be awarded. Bring worms and tackle. The club is accessed off 5 Lund St. in Litchfield. Directions are available at londonderryfishandgameclub.com.
