Walk like an Egyptian July 22
Leach Library hosts a children’s summer event on July 22 at 11 a.m. There will be stories about Egypt, pyramids, mummies, and more. Children will also try their hand at hieroglyphics and learn to walk like an Egyptian. Registration is required by calling 432-1127 or stop by the library’s Children’s Room to sign up.
Legion Post 27 seeks new members
American Legion Post 27 is actively seeking new Legionnaires who have the appropriate military service dates.
Additionally, the post welcomes men whose fathers or grandfathers are eligible for membership, as well as women related to qualified members. These two groups can join the Sons of the American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary, respectively.
The mission is to provide assistance to veterans, children and the community.

Backyard Bible Camp starts soon
Londonderry Christian Church, 372 Mammoth Road, hosts a Backyard Bible Camp for kindergarten through eighth grade.
The camp runs July 22-26 from 6 to 8 p.m. , with a buffet supper planned on the final night.
Participants will learn music, games, and hear stories about the Bible. Adults can attend a study group while kids take part in their own program.

A crabby kind of day
Seacoast Science Center brings a hermit crab show to Leach Library on July 31 at 11 a.m.
Live hermit crabs will visit the library and children will learn all about how crabs live.

Christian concert planned next month
St. Jude Roman Catholic Church hosts a Christian music concert “From Storm to Serenity” on Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. The concert features author and singer/songwriter Nancy Recco.
