Walk for autism planned May 5

The annual 5k Walk for Autism is set for May 5 at 1 p.m., beginning at Moose Hill Kindergarten, 150 Pillsbury Road.

Registration is $25 and the first 50 entries get a shirt.

Proceeds benefit the Asperger’s Association of New England. Register at g2racereg.webconnex.com.

Library offers online magazine access

Leach Library announced the Online Newsstand. This interface allows easy, direct access to recent feature length articles found in many of the popular and scholarly magazines available through the library’s EBSCO database.

Patrons are able to access the Online Newsstand at the library, at home, or via their smart phones or other mobile devices. Online Newsstand is the creation of Steve Butzel, a New Hampshire librarian.

After you receive your password, you can visit the library’s website, londonderrynh.org/Pages/LondonderryNH_Library/Index, and click on Reference Services, then Online Newsstand, and select a category to begin reading your favorite magazine.
