Londonderry's Old Home Day celebration continues

---- — LONDONDERRY — The town’s 114th annual Old Home Day celebration is in full swing, running through Sunday.

The five-day event’s theme is “Londonderry: Where Friends and Family Come Together” offers a full schedule of family activities, sporting events, food, community booths, music and children’s events.

Coming up tonight is the annual Kidz Night beginning at 5:30 p.m. on the Town Common. A movie follows at 8:45 p.m., featuring the film “The Avengers.”

Friday’s schedule includes the popular police/fire softball game at 6 p.m. at Matthew Thornton Elementary School. a family concert at 7:15 p.m. on the high school lawn with fireworks to follow at 8:45 p.m.

Saturday is filled with a full day of booths, a baby contest, hot air balloon rides, the Lundgren 5K race and the parade.

Sunday rounds out the celebration with a Christian concert and picnic on the Town Common at 11 a.m.
