Free workshop on social media, business
Leach Library will host a free workshop presented by Andy Mack Jr. on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Mack is a marketing professional involved in the local art community. Attendees are invited to bring along their laptops or tablets, but are not required to do so.
The workshop will focus on small business owners who want to polish their social media skills. It will include topics like troubleshooting and expanding reach using Twitter, Facebook and Linked In.
All workshops are free and open to the public.
Dance the night away at Grange
There will be a New England Contra Dance on Friday, Feb. 10, from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Mayflower Grange / Londonderry Senior Center at 535 Mammoth Road.
It's a family-friendly event. No partner is required.
Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for children 12 and younger.
