A New England Contra Dance event will be held at the Londonderry Senior Center/Mayflower Grante on Feb. 8 from 8 to 11 p.m.

The center is located at 525 Mammoth Road. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for ages 12 and under.

Wellness fair planned at LHS on Feb. 12

Matthew Thornton Elementary School hosts its wellness fair on Feb. 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Londonderry High School cafeteria. The snow date is Feb. 19.

There will be vendors offering information and demonstrations, as well as local medical, fire, and police personnel giving programs and information.

Demonstrations include kickboxing, karate and other fitness activities.

LHS presents ‘Footloose’

The Londonderry High School Drama Club presents the musical “Footloose” on Feb. 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. and again Feb. 16 at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Derry Opera House, West Broadway.

Tickets are $10 for students, staff and seniors, and $15 for adults.

Musquash Day

is Feb. 16

The Londonderry Conservation Commission and UNH Cooperative Extension are co-sponsoring the 22nd annual Musquash Conservation Area Field Day on Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a free event.

Snow or no snow, there will be activities for everyone. Walk to the landing to enjoy refreshments around an open fire.

Explore the woodlands as you hike the trails, visit cellar holes, or learn how early successional habitat is created for New England Cottontail from Emma Carcagno, wildlife program assistant for Cooperative Extension, and Fred Borman, county extension forester.

Practice on snowshoes provided by Eastern Mountains Sports (weather and snow conditions permitting). Park at the end of Hickory Hill Road off High Range Road.
