LONDONDERRY — There was plenty of frosty fun even without the snow.
Students at Matthew Thornton Elementary School had an indoor snowball fight March 14 to celebrate good behavior.
Classrooms that behaved well and showed respect earned the school’s Golden PAW honor. Those students had a chance to make yarn “snowballs” and then toss them at each other in a dodgeball-style contest.
The snowball event was part of the school’s ongoing program to reinforce respect and positive behaviors.
One class from each grade was chosen to win the PAW award and those students tossed their yarn snowballs around the cafeteria.
