LONDONDERRY BRIEFS

(Continued)

The day is held with or without snow.

Visitors will be able to explore the land and learn about animal habitats. Refreshments will be served.

The day has been held for more than 20 years. It is a joint effort between Londonderry’s Conservation Commission and the UNH Cooperative Extension.

Musquash Conservation area is a 900-acre wooded area owned by the town of Londonderry and managed by the Londonderry Conservation Commission. Only low-impact recreation is allowed; motorized, wheeled vehicles are banned on the 15-plus miles of trails.

To get to the conservation area from Route 102, follow Mammoth Road north, taking a left onto Pillsbury Road at the lights. Follow Pillsbury approximately one mile to High Range Road. Turn right onto High Range and follow 1.2 miles to a left turn onto Hickory Hill Drive.
