Londonderry man charged with sex assault

LONDONDERRY — A Berkshire Lane man faces felony charges for sexually assaulting two young girls.

Christopher Davis, 48, was arrested on a warrant at his home Dec. 24 on four counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, according to Londonderry police Detective Christopher Olson.

Davis was charged with sexually assaulting the girls at his home over a two-year period, Olson said.

The incidents allegedly occurred between January 2010 and June 2012, Olson said. The sexual assaults were recently reported by a parent, he said.

Davis was held on $100,000 cash bail pending his arraignment in 10th Circuit Court in Derry, Olson said.

If convicted, each count of aggravated felonious sexual assault is punishable by seven and a half to 15 years in state prison.
