Explore the Musquash Feb. 15
The annual Musquash Conservation Area Field Day is Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day includes a schedule of outdoor events, including hiking the area’s trails and other winter activities.
The day is held with or without snow.
Visitors will be able to explore the land and learn about animal habitats. Refreshments will be served.
The day has been held for more than 20 years. It is a joint effort between Londonderry’s Conservation Commission and the UNH Cooperative Extension.
The Musquash Conservation area is a 900-acre wooded area owned by the town of Londonderry and managed by the Londonderry Conservation Commission. Only low-impact recreation is allowed; motorized, wheeled vehicles are banned on the 15-plus miles of trails.
To get to the conservation area from Route 102, follow Mammoth Road north, taking a left onto Pillsbury Road at the lights. Follow Pillsbury approximately one mile to High Range Road. Turn right onto High Range and follow 1.2 miles to a left turn onto Hickory Hill Drive.
Legion presents karaoke night
American Legion Post 27, 6 Sargent Road, presents karaoke with DJ Sharon on Feb. 21 from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at the post home.

Calling all bakers to Mack’s Feb. 22
Mack’s Apples revives its pie contest Feb. 22 at the farm stand on Mammoth Road. People are signing up now to enter the traditional or non-traditional pie categories. A panel of judges will pick the top winners in each category.
Pies should be at Mack’s on contest day by 1:30 p.m. Judging is at 2 p.m.

Art in Action set
Londonderry Arts Council presents Art in Action on May 3-4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mack’s Apples on Mammoth Road. The event gives artists the opportunity to demonstrate their artistic process, and interact as they work and display their talents for sale.
The show features two-dimensional art with oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, colored pencil and mixed media. The show is open both days to the public.
