Mr. and Mrs. Abhijit and Banani Chaudhury of East Douglas, Mass., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rupsa Chaudhury, to Dr. Matthew Boelig, son of Ray and Lori Boelig of Gilford, formerly of Londonderry.
The couple met in Baltimore in 2007 while watching the Red Sox play for their second title.
Ms. Chaudhury graduated from Lexington High School and Rice University. She is a fourth-year medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore.
Dr. Boelig graduated from The Derryfield School, Yale University and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is a surgical resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
An August 2011 wedding is planned.
