Old Home Day group seeks input

The Londonderry Old Home Day Committee invites anyone with good ideas to get involved in planning the annual five-day celebration in August.

The committee meets the third Thursday of every month through July at the town offices. Visit for information.

Vote for favorite books at library

Leach Library offers children a chance to stop by the library all this month and through March to vote on a favorite Flume and Isinglass-nominated book title.

The Flume award is geared toward children in grades 9-12 and Isinglass is for grades 6-9. Those who enter and vote could win a gift certificate.

Supervisors of the Checklist to meet

The Supervisors of the Checklist meet March 1 from 10 a.m. to noon at the town offices for anyone wishing to register to vote.

Anyone not previously registered can sign up in time for the upcoming town and school election. Proof of citizenship, identity and residency required. This is the last day to register before the March 11 election.

Library hosts scavenger hunt

Leach Library is hosting a scavenger hunt or children through March 1.

Children can stop by the library’s Children’s Room for a list of items to locate around the library. Turn in a complete list and get a raffle ticket for a prize.
