LONDONDERRY — Budding filmmakers had fun last week during the school district's computer camp. Depending on age and experience, campers learned how to made slide shows, created movies and learned how to do video editing.
All classes were held at Londonderry Middle School and taught by Joanne McGee, Beth Haarlander and Karen Robinson. One of the projects was to create promotional spots for Old Home Day for the town's cable TV station.
Down the hall, instructor Gino Tiella taught robotics and programming to students entering fifth through eighth grades. Campers constructed robots to perform specific duties and wrote a program for the robot using computer software. By trial and error, campers could adjust their robots' maneuvers by tweaking the programming.
