Fall Bulb Sale

is underway

Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library started their annual Fall Bulb Sale Sept. 1.

This year there are 26 varieties of spring and summer flowers, including savings on both a Spring Garden Collection and a Rock Garden collection, as well as tulips, irises, daffodils and many others.

Those who wish to purchase bulbs can visit Leach Library’s circulation desk to view the catalogue. Orders can be placed until Saturday, Oct. 6.

Apple Country fair returning to church

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Londonderry will hold its 25th annual Apple Country Craft Fair Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3 Peabody Row.

The craft fair will feature more than 60 artists. The event will also feature a variety of food and raffles.

Sunday School resumes

On Sept. 9, United Methodist Church will begin its Sunday School classes.

Each class will start at 10 a.m. and end at 10:45 a.m. All children from age 4 to high school level are able to attend the classes at 258 Mammoth Road.

Last chance for

golf tournament

There are still spots open for the Londonderry Rotary Club Golf Tournament Monday, Sept. 10, at Candia Woods Golf Course.

The event will have a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The day will include raffles, gifts, contests, prizes and a dinner banquet following the tournament.

Collared shirts and shoes with soft spikes will be required; jeans are not permitted at Candia Woods Golf Course.

The tournament is a four-person scramble, and players of all skill levels are welcome. Sponsorship spots are still available as well.
