LONDONDERRY — Fast food customers got a scare on Aug. 27 when the state police bomb squad showed up to investigate a propane tank wrapped in duct tape that police thought could be an explosive.
The device was not a safety threat, but local and state police closed the drive-thru at the Wendy's on Nashua Road while they investigated the device for about 90 minutes.
An employee at the fast-food restaurant called police at around 11 a.m. to report the device, according to police.
Police are continuing to investigate who may have left the tank in the parking lot.
