LONDONDERRY — It was raining cats and dogs Wednesday morning, but inside the Leach Library there were much more exotic animals to be found.
Wildlife Encounters, an educational nonprofit traveling zoo, brought a red-necked wallaby, a Burmese python, an Australian goanna (lizard) and even a small kangaroo to delight about 50 children during a meet-and-greet presentation of critters from the Outback.
