July 03, 2008 11:38 am Amanda Morgan, a 2008 graduate of Londonderry High, will attend the University of New Hampshire Durham on a full scholarship. She will major in music education. Morgan also received four scholarships from Londonderry High School and was voted best female musician by her peers. She made the high honor roll freshman year through senior year and was inducted into the National Honor Society. She is also president of the Tre-M Music Honor Society. Morgan began playing piano and trombone at a very young age and has accompanied Londonderry High School musicals as well as professional groups throughout the Northeast. She was selected all-state in jazz and classical and is in the Chamber Chair, Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band and the great Marching Lancers Band. Morgan also plays piano and trombone at St. Mark's Church where she is a parishioner.
