Executive Council race heating up

LONDONDERRY — Democrat Christopher Pappas and Republican Robert Burns continue to campaign in the District 4 Executive Council race.

Burns edged out Charles Roeleck and Tom De Blois in a close race in the September primary.

The Bedford native will take on Pappas of Manchester.

District 4 includes Deerfield, Auburn, Londonderry, Northwood, Nottingwood and Candia.

What would you plan to do if elected?: Push for fiscally responsible policies that will help make New Hampshire a more dynamic place to live, work and do business.

Robert Burns

Age: 34

Incumbent: No

Party: republican

Elective experience: Manchester selectman, Hillsborough County treasurer

Occupation: Manufacturing equipment sales, service and installation

What do you plan to do if elected?: I will vet all departments heads and judicial candidates. I will review all contracts to ensure we are getting fair prices.
