Children overflowing with spirit of giving

DERRY — From the mouths of some of the region's youngest holiday fans comes a bevy of good wishes for their teachers.

Students at South Range Elementary School paid particular attention to the school's faculty this year, with a long list of greetings for a bright holiday season.

The school also donated a generous amount — $380 — to the Derry News Santa Fund in honor of these educators.

The Santa Fund continues to reach out to help others this season and all year long. Money raised goes directly to aid the Derry Community Fund, working in Greater Derry and surrounding areas for over 40 years. Donations to date total $11,866.

Contributions can still be mailed to: Derry News Santa Fund, P.O. Box 307, Derry, NH 03038, or dropped off at the news office at 46 West Broadway.
