Richardson family fire fund
On the evening of Saturday, Dec. 12 the Richardson home was completely destroyed by a quick moving fire. Tad Richardson is an active member in many non-profit organizations in Raymond as well as a long time worker at Parkland Medical Center as head of maintenance of the properties. They have lost everything. There has been a fund established to help them through this difficult time. Please address any donations to The Richardson Family Fire Fund, 13 Algay Drive, Epping NH 03042, to be deposited to the fund. For more information call Michael Pettengill 370-0997 or e-mail mbmj@comcast.net.

Starting 2010 with a bang
The first Derry Town Council meeting of 2010 could hold some fireworks. A public hearing at the Jan. 5 meeting will discuss the land taking required for the expansion of Route 28 (Rockingham Road). Several business owners in that neighborhood have already expressed concerns over the impact of the project on their establishments.
