Elliot, employees donate to Haitian relief fund

MANCHESTER — The lives of hundreds of thousands of people were changed forever on Jan. 12 when a series of earthquakes struck the island nation of Haiti. In February, Elliot Health System staff members were given the opportunity to donate to the International Red Cross through payroll deductions and earned time donations.

In a show of compassion that Elliot Health System is known for, the staff has donated more than $7,300 to support the American Red Cross earthquake relief efforts.

Donations were matched 100 percent by the health system for a grand total of $14,750.

"Every time I think about the employees of this organization, I am proud and humbled by what they accomplish for the patients and families we are privileged to serve," said Doug Dean, president and CEO. "Their caring and concern for members of this community is demonstrated on a daily basis. Today, they have taken that compassion and shared it with thousands affected by the tragedy of earthquakes in Haiti so many miles away. I am honored to have matched this outpouring of benevolence and am proud and humbled by their generosity."

Londonderry woman hired by KeyPoint

KeyPoint Partners LLC has hired Stephanie French of Londonderry as marketing assistant in the firm's Burlington, Mass., office. French will support KeyPoint Partners' overall marketing activities, and will take key responsibility for the firm's new shopping center marketing service.

KeyPoint Partners introduced its in-house shopping center marketing program last year as an additional service for properties which the firm manages and leases.

"It's a bit of an innovation in the industry, and so far our clients have been enthusiastic," said Chris Cardoni, marketing manager at KeyPoint Partners. "Even smaller strip centers, which generally aren't marketed like malls and lifestyle centers, can benefit from a marketing program. We focus on small-scale events that create life in vacant spaces, connect the tenants in the center, and contribute to the community. It creates energy for the property, and absolutely enhances the leasing effort".

KeyPoint Partners provides marketing services for Wayside Commons in Burlington; Derry Meadows Shoppes in Derry; Super Stop and Shop Plaza in Stoughton; and has begun work on centers in Revere and Waterville, Maine.

French was hired after a rigorous interview process in which she had to create and submit a marketing plan for an actual shopping center.

"Stephanie definitely rose to the challenge," Cardoni said. "She has a wide variety of skills and exceptional energy."

French graduated magna cum laude from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor's degree in advertising and a minor in graphic design. She was part of SNHU's Advertising Agency. She has held a variety of positions from Red Bull's promotional team to human resources manager with AIL-The Matthew Wolfanger Agency.
