Calling all dog lovers
The town of Londonderry has formed a Dog Park Study Committee and volunteers are always needed to take part.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Londonderry Access Center next to the high school. Meetings are open to the public.

There will be an Ice Cream Social at Stonyfield Yogurt Works Visitor Center on Thursday, Aug. 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 10 Burton Drive.
Looking for something to do on a hot summer night? Head over for free frozen yogurt treats on the patio. Cool off inside to learn how they make yogurt and pickup some cool Stonyfield gear and yogurt to take home.

Miss Londonderry pageant is Aug. 10
The Miss Londonderry Scholarship Program will be held Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Londonderry Middle School. The program is an official preliminary to the Miss American Scholarship program, with local winners going on to compete for the title of Miss New Hampshire.
The Miss Londonderry title is open to women ages 17 to 24 who live, work or attend school full time in Londonderry, or within a 20-mile radius. Contestants will compete in swimsuit, talent, lifestyle, eveningwear and onstage interview.

Londonderry residents, take part in this year’s Old Home Day Celebration by showing everyone your amazing talent.
Enter your favorite creations in one of the eight categories at the Town Fair, held in the Grange Hall.
The categories are: Cakes; Cookies; Knitting and Crocheting; Needlepoint; Sewing; Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor paintings; Photographs of outdoor birds found in Londonderry; and Woodworking.
All you have to do to register is send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, address, category, age group (8-12, 13-18, or 18-plus), and a description of the item you are entering.
