Londonderry students shine in Reflections show

LONDONDERRY — Students from the entire school district got to show off their artwork and other creative talents during the annual Reflections exhibit at Londonderry Middle School last Saturday evening.

During its 40-year history, the Reflections program, run by each school's PTA, has encouraged students across the nation to enter the contest with visual artwork, photography, film production, dance choreography, literature and musical composition.

This year's Reflections theme is "Diversity Means ..."

Students from kindergarten through high school were eligible to enter. Volunteer judges from the community with expertise in each of art forms picked the top three from each grade and also awarded honorable mentions.

These top choices were on display last weekend at the middle school. The winners now move on to the regional finals in March. Winners from that event go on to compete at the state level.

The best-of-the-best entries will move on to the National PTA to be considered for a National Reflections award.
