Residents clean up after the blizzard

Residents clean up after the storm

After the wind stopped and the snowstorm moved out, residents starting the long process of digging out from the blizzard that all but stopped activity for more than 24 hours.

Neighbors helped neighbors dig out, clean off and restore life to normal.

Residents are reminded to clean out fire hydrants in their neighborhoods. It serves the firefighters and residents well.

New Hampshire residents were lucky in that the power stayed on in most areas, unlike what happened in Massachusetts.

Few accidents were reported, thanks, in part, to Gov. Maggie Hassan’s request that residents stay put after 7 p.m. Friday.
