---- — Jets’ fans take every win
Londonderry town attorney Mike Ramsdell must have been smiling a bit more as he approached the microphone at a meeting Nov. 4.
His presentation on the town’s impact fee structure was most likely not the cause of his happy mood.
“Don’t look so happy,” Town Council Chairman John Farrell told Ramsdell. “Just because the Jets won yesterday doesn’t mean they’ll make the playoffs.”
What’s in a name?
Sometimes it’s nice to share a name with someone more famous. Just ask Londonderry Town Council Chairman John Farrell, who shares a name with the popular Red Sox manager.
“And congrats to John Farrell on your first World Series victory,” Town Manager Kevin Smith told the council leader at a meeting Nov. 4.

Londonderry Town Manager Kevin Smith said the town of Londonderry was featured in an article in the magazine “Business New Hampshire.” The article talks about the town and its successes.
“It’s a good read,” Smith said.
Caught with no key
Londonderry police were called to a home on Seasons Lane Thursday morning after a Merrimack police officer working a detail got a tip about a possible burglary in progress.
A woman reported she had just seen someone climbing through the back window of a house.
Police investigated and discovered the would-be suspect was a resident of the home. Bet he will remember his keys the next time.
Raising the flag
Just in time for Veterans Day, last weekend a Hoodkroft golf course staff member was spotted attaching an American flag to a pole on one of the final greens at the course.
Several foursomes were out that morning. Perhaps they included veterans who appreciated the gesture.
