---- — Is that you, Master Po?
It was too brief a glimpse to see who was driving, but a bright green compact car was spotted on Interstate 495 last week with some intriguing N.H. vanity plates: GRASHPR.
We’d like to think it was a major Kung Fu fan at the wheel. More likely, the plate reflected the car’s resemblance to the insect.
PAWS and effect
There’s lots of positive energy at Matthew Thornton School. Make that “paws”itive.
PAWS is an acronym for Positive attitude, Act responsibly, Work and play safely, and Show respect. That fits in well with the school’s tiger mascot.
He peeks out of a doorway as a friendly reminder to students and guests.
Time to ‘Whac-A-Mole’
It’s that time of year again when all sorts of garden varmints are getting ready to strike that hosta at a moment’s notice.
One local business has a cure-all for those pesky moles and their tunnel vision antics.
A sign in front of Blue Seal on Crystal Avenue says it all: “Does your yard look like a road map? Show them the exit with Mole Max.”
There was no word of a Redcoat re-enactment Saturday in Londonderry, but someone apparently didn’t care for a single red coat.
Police were called to Lilac Circle just before 2 p.m. for a report that the caller’s neighbor had a red coat hanging from a tree and was repeatedly stabbing it “with a very large knife.”
No charges followed, simply “services rendered.”
