LONDONDERRY — Residents of the Wagon Wheels Mobile Home Park at 2 Stonehenge Road will now have new addresses. The Town Council approved, 5-0, renaming the four roads within the mobile home park to be in compliance with the enhanced 9-1-1 telecommunication system.
The Street Naming Task Force found that the unit numbers in the park were arranged inconsistently, with odds and evens on the same side in non-sequential order. Names were not in use by the U.S. Postal Service or other delivery providers.
The new names that go into effect 60 days from the council's approval on April 16 will be A Street changed to Prairie Lane; B Street to Mustang Lane; C Street to Pinto Lane; and Circle Drive will be renamed Stage Coach Circle
The renaming of Kelly Road to Horizon Road did not pass, 5-0. There is a Kelly Avenue which is cause for concern. Kelly Avenue continues into Manchester, which has not begun its street naming process.
Councilors agreed to wait until Manchester begins this process.
