“The council is definitely going to change, and change for the better,” he said.

Flattes said a town administrator can often be more of a “door” to block the voice of the people. If elected, Flattes wants people to be able to come up to him and express their thoughts or concerns.

The pair also fielded questions about economic development, the school budget, recent town council behavior and how they believe the town can prosper.
