Not only are Pinkerton seniors gearing up for the big day on June 13 when they walk the walk down the steps of the Pinkerton Building in a sea of red and white, seniors who love to sing might have a chance to do something extra special on graduation day. Pinkerton seniors are auditioning to try and earn the coveted chance to sing the national anthem during commencement. According to Pinkerton choral director Thomas Quigley, every year someone from the senior class is chosen to sing. Last year, a quartet of graduating seniors sang the anthem, this year, it might be a solo or another group, Quigley said.
