Londonderry, Derry and Chester enjoy a healthy blend of those elements and the results are evident. As the school year heads into its home stretch, we take a look at some of the people who make the area's schools special.

Santina Iturralde, a Pinkerton Academy senior from Derry, gives blood for the first time at the annual Pinkerton Academy blood drive on Friday, May 9. Working with her is Amy Basiliere, a collections specialist from Nashua. There were 174 donors with 132 pints of blood donated.
