---- — Couch to 5K starts anew on Oct. 5
DERRY — The Greater Derry Track Club, along with Parkland Medical Center, hosts its Couch to 5K program, beginning Oct. 5 and running through Nov. 23.
The program is designed for beginners who are interested in training for and running in a 5K road race. Each training session is roughly 30 minutes long.
Participants meet at Tuesdays at the entrance to the Windham Rail Trail, 6 Depot Road. Call John McGarry at 890-6205 for information.
Flu shot clinic set
LONDONDERRY — Pharmacists from Walgreens Pharmacy will conduct a flu shot clinic at the Londonderry Senior Center on Oct. 21 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The center is located at 535 Mammoth Road.
Participants must bring a Medicare or private insurance card for billing, and will also be asked to fill out information upon arrival. The cost is $31.99. For information, call 432-8554.
Medicare Part D session planned
LONDONDERRY —The Londonderry Senior Center welcomes Donna Leitner from Rockingham Service Link for presentations on Oct. 21 and 28.
Leitner will speak on Medicare Part D Enrollment and will be available to assist people and answer questions.
Anyone interested must sign up for an appointment. Sessions are held both days from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
