Cancer Society offers holiday cards
Order your holiday cards now from the American Cancer Society, cancer.org.
Send your family, friends, colleagues and customers holiday greetings this year that help in the fight against cancer.
The 2013 Christmas, Chanukah, and holiday cards carry this message on the back: “This card represents a donation that has been made to your American Cancer Society.”
You get to choose the wording inside.
If you order your cards before Sept. 22 they will be delivered to you by mid-October. White envelopes are included.
The donation you make in return for your cards will cover printing and shipping costs and help the American Cancer Society continue to save lives. It may be 100 percent tax deductible.

Veterans, get your flu shots
MANCHESTER – The Manchester VA Medical Center is planning for walk-in flu clinics for all eligible veterans. No appointment is needed.
The clinics will be held Monday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 4, in the Training and Education Room, N129, on the first floor.
Dates and times are: Sept. 30, 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Oct. 1, 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Oct. 2, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Oct. 3, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Oct. 4, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The VAMC drive-through flu clinics will be available to all eligible veterans Sept. 9 and Sept. 16, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.. No appointment is needed. Go to Building 7 (garage area). It will be clearly marked.
