Parkland hosts bereavement group
DERRY — Lahey Center for Oncology and Hematology at Parkland Medical Center presents a bereavement support group for those grieving the loss of a spouse or loved one.
The group’s focus will be on providing mutual support, learning about the grieving process and ways to cope.
The group runs every week on Monday from noon to 2 p.m. for six weeks.
The group is free and meets at the Lahey Center, Overlook Medical Center, 6 Tsienneto Road, Suite 101LL.

Learn about treating knee pain
DERRY — A workshop on treating knee pain will be held March 21 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Nutfield Professional Building, 44 Birch St., Suite 203, next to Parkland Medical Center.
The free lecture is presented by Dr. Thomas Marks, orthopedic surgeon at Rockingham Orthodpaedic Associates and also medical director of Parkland’s orthopedics program.

Free hearing screenings offered
DERRY — Derry Parks and Recreation is taking appointments for free hearing screenings at the Marion Gerrish Community Center, 39 West Broadway.
Screenings are provided by Christopher Streeter, licensed hearing instrument specialist.
Screenings will be held March 6, April 3 and May 1. Call to make an appointment at 432-6136.
