---- — Salon hosts bone marrow registration

LONDONDERRY — Register as a bone marrow donor Sunday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Salon Bogar, 25 Orchard View Drive.

They also will be holding a raffle and a bake sale to help benefit a local family. A friend of the salon’s, a hard-working single mother of one, has been battling lupus and lymphoma for years. This has left her out of work and in need of a possible transplant.

All it takes is a simple cheek swab to join the bone marrow registry.
