A Family & Substance Abuse support group, will be offered on the fourth Sunday of every month, from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church, 231 Main St., Salem. The family informational meetings are open to the public, spouses, other significant adults and adolescents in an alcoholic's/drug user's life. This group is geared towards helping family members understand that they are not responsible for the addiction and that they need to take steps to take care of themselves. DUAL RECOVERY ANONYMOUS meeting is held every Wednesday, from 12 to 1 p.m. at On the Road to Recovery, 12, Birch Street, Derry. Sponsored by the Derry Friendship Center, this is a non-professional organization established to help men and women who experience a dual disorder, meaning chemical dependency or other additions as well as an emotional or psychiatric illness.
