---- — Hospice volunteer training

LONDONDERRY — Hospice volunteer training is set for Jan. 28 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Amedisys Hospice.

Volunteer assignments are made close to where volunteer lives.

Anyone interested in learning more about being a hospice volunteer can call 421-0414.

Free meals continue

DERRY— Free meals in Derry continue as part of the Community Meals Network.

The upcoming meals schedule is as follows: Jan. 17, West Running Brook Middle School, 5 to 6 p.m.; Jan. 18, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Police plan blood drive

The Derry Police Department hosts it winter blood drive on Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Promises to Keep, 199 Rockingham Road.

Area restaurants will provide food and all donors received a shirt and a coupon for a pound of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.
