Derry Medical Center offers 90-Mile Challenge

DERRY — Derry Medical Center is hosting its kick-off to good health.

A 90-Mile Challenge event is now underway to help people get moving everyday and be more fit.

The 90-day, 90-Mile Challenge is a statewide health initiative that asks people to move a mile a day. Participants can get free entrance to any New Hampshire park as an added incentive.

Participants get a “passport” to register for future events as part of the program.

Upcoming events include Londonderry Rail Trail walks with Dr. John Daley on July 18 and Aug. 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at North Elementary School, 19 Sanborn Lane.

There will be a program to celebrate the 90-Mile Challenge’s conclusion on Sept. 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 14 Tsienneto Road, Suite 300, Derry.
