---- — DERRY — Community Caregivers of Greater welcomed nine new members to its board of directors.
The organization works through a volunteer network to assist the elderly and disabled with transportation, simple chores, visiting, home repair and shopping. All services are free.
Those joining Caregivers’ board last month are: Jill McLaughlin, human services administrator for the town of Derry; Rick Flynn, Londonderry certified public accountant; retired business owner and longtime Derry resident Paul Loffler; Jill Pelunis, a certified speech and language pathologist; Donna Proulx of Londonderry, longtime volunteer in the school district and a physical therapist for many years; Martin Couture, Hamsptead, financial services manager for People’s Bank in Derry; Kelly McINtire, a freelance copywriter and board member of the Londonderry High School girls lacrosse booster club; Jessica Vaughn-Martin, a staff member at the United Way of the Greater Seacoast and secretary of the board of the Applewood Learning Center in Londonderry; and James McCoy, a lawyer and advocate who has served communities for many years and works to support the state’s abused and neglected children.
All will serve three-year terms on the Caregivers’ board of directors.
