The free support groups consist of parents and caregivers discussing issues associated with children, teens and young adults affected by alcohol and/or other drugs. A Family & Substance Abuse support group, will be offered on the fourth Sunday of every month, from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 231 Main St., Salem. The family informational meetings are open to the public, spouses, other significant adults and adolescents in an alcoholic’s/drug user’s life. This group is geared towards helping family members understand that they are not responsible for the addiction and that they need to take steps to take care of themselves.
