LONDONDERRY — St. Jude’s Parish hosted a “triple play” when it comes to helping people in the community.
The parish and its Community Service Committee hosted a Triple Play event combining a Red Cross blood drive with a bone marrow registry typing drive and a Brigham and Women’s Hospital Living Donor Program.
The drive Jan. 31 drew a crowd of people to sign up to donate blood or be a potential bone marrow or living donor.
St. Jude’s hosts several blood drives throughout the year in efforts to keep the blood supply replenished. Many residents and local businesses donate food and other items to support the St. Jude drives.
