"The town is extremely excited about this collaboration with Parkland Medical Center and the pooling of community resources to provide additional services that will benefit so many of our local senior citizens," said Eric Bodenrader, director of Derry Parks and Recreation Department.
Each lecture will consist of a presentation from a health-care expert as well as a question and answer session immediately following. Attendees may also submit questions in advance. Selected lectures will also be broadcast via Derry Public Television for those who are not able to attend in person.
The next session is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, at 3:30 p.m. The topic will be wound care presented by Dr. Albert Northcutt of Londonderry Family Practice and the medical director at the Parkland Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine.
As seating is limited, advanced registration is required. To register for any of the lectures, contact the Derry Parks and Recreation Department at 432-6136.
