DERRY — Birch Heights Independent Retirement Living Community will host a Fall Prevention Seminar on Saturday, Jan. 4, from 11 a.m. to noon. Birch Heights is at 7 Kendall Pond Road.

The seminar will be presented by Interim Healthcare. There in no charge for admission. RSVP early; a complimentary lunch will be included. To RSVP, call Birch Heights at 425-7755.

Seniors, try free ZENgevity classes

DERRY — ZENgevity is an innovative, whole body, whole person movement program for seniors. Movement of the body is key to health, both physical and emotional. Emotions reside in the body, even in the cells. Through movement, the body releases blocked and stagnant emotions that can contribute to disease. ZENgevity is a safe and gentle movement program designed specifically for ages 50 and better to stay active and enjoy life.

Beginning in January, ZENgevity coach Debbie Roy, will offer three free introductory classes.

Indroductory classes Monday, Jan. 6, and Monday, Jan. 13, will be held at Marion Gerrish Community Center at 39 West Broadway. The class Monday, Jan. 27, will be held at the Veterans Hall Gymnasium at 31 West Broadway.
