There’s still time to donate diapers

Susan Ochoa (812-1100 or susanjochoa@gmail.com) and Danielle Hart (494-5722 or divadani@icloud.com) are spearheading a disposable diaper drive all month.

Donations will be distributed through The Upper Room.

Diapers are expensive, Ochoa said, and not covered by SNAP or WIC.

Drop off donations at the Century 21 office at 84 W. Broadway or Oasis Salon by Bea at 18 E. Broadway. All sizes of diapers are needed.

Cancer patients need rides to treatment

The American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery program is in great need of volunteers from New Hampshire communities to drive local cancer patients to and from their chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments.

Volunteers use their own vehicle and set their own schedule. Treatment appointments take place weekdays, primarily during business hours.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer driver for Road to Recovery, call 800-227-2345 or visit cancer.org.
