Parkland opens urgent care facility

DERRY — Parkland Medical Center announced the imminent opening of the Parkland Medical Building at 31 Stiles Road in Salem.

The 50,000-square-foot building will be home to Salem’s first comprehensive licensed Urgent Care Center, offering walk-in treatment for minor illnesses and injuries seven days a week with lab and X-ray services on-site.

Additional specialty services and amenities at the new facility include an Oncology and Hematology Center, a second location through Parkland’s affiliation with Lahey Clinic, ancillary testing services, a Women’s Health Center and additional specialty services, including cardiology, urology, orthopedics, endocrinology and primary care.

Opening its doors in April, the Parkland Medical Building will be home to: Parkland Urgent Care at Salem, Andover Urology, Appledore Medical Group, (Parkland Physician Services of Salem), LabCorp, Lahey Center for Oncology and Hematology at Parkland Medical Salem, New Hampshire Orthopedic Center, The Parkland Center for Cardiology / New England Heart Institute, and Salem Radiology.

By housing a wide array of outpatient and urgent care services residents of Salem and surrounding communities will have access to a one-stop-shopping advanced health-care experience.

To celebrate the opening, there will be an open house on Wednesday, April 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a brief program at 6:15 p.m. Come by and tour the new state-of-the-art facility. Light refreshments will be served.
