West Running Brook takes on shaving challenge
Courtesy photo West Running Brook Middle School teachers and staff shaved their heads or cut inches of hair to honor one of their own, seventh-grader Alanna Marcotte, who is battling cancer. Heads were sheared during an assembly April 19 in an effort to raise money to support the Marcotte family. More than $12,000 was raised.
Teachers and staff at West Running Brook Middle School are sporting new looks, part of a campaign to help a student battling cancer.
