Roy Berger of Londonderry, a senior majoring in computer engineering at Clarkson University, received the Earl L. LaPointe '22 Memorial Endowed Scholarship and Steve Neely Memorial Endowed Scholarship during the 2011-2012 academic year.

Chantelle DiMambro, a resident of Derry, was recently acknowledged by Wheelock College for her outstanding academic achievement by being placed on the fall 2011 dean's list.

Kristen Llewellyn of Londonderry was a recipient of the dean's award for academic excellence during the 2011 fall term at Colgate University.

Cornell University's Claire Cordella of Londonderry has been placed on the dean's list of the College of Arts and Sciences for excellence in scholarship for the fall 2011 semester.

Joseph Swope, a senior philosophy major from Derry, has been named to the University of Dallas dean's list for the fall 2011 semester.

Ryan Landry, a sophomore philosophy major from Londonderry, has been named to the University of Dallas honor roll for the fall 2011 semester.

Gina D'Isidoro of Derry was named to the Merrimack College fall 2011 semester dean's list.

Margaret Pearson of Derry and Carinne Haigis of Londonderry were named to the dean's list for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Maine at Farmington.

Hilary Gorgol of Londonderry, a student at Saint Anselm College, spent her spring break on a concert tour of Europe with the college choir. The musical tour included stops in Cannes and Avignon, France, Monaco, and Barcelona, Spain.

Abigail Hutchins of Londonderry, a student in the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University, was inducted into the PRIDE (Programs Rooted In Developing Excellence) Incentive Club.

Joseph Swope of Derry was one of 22 University of Dallas philosophy students to present a paper during the Department of Philosophy's inaugural Philosophy Senior Conference on March 17. Swope's paper was titled "Where Are We Headed? An Ethics of Judgment in a Changing World." The one-day conference, "Philosophical Aspects of the Digital Age," addressed the impact of the digital age on human life and culture.

Samuel Botero of Chester earned high honors on the winter trimester academic honor roll at Lawrence Academy.

Jason Caldon of Londonderry has graduated from Excelsior College with a bachelor of science degree.

Endicott College student Kimberly Galluzzo of Londonderry helped families obtain simple, decent and affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity in Laredo, Texas. Galluzzo participated in Habitat's national alternative break program, Collegiate Challenge, through Endicott College's Alternative Spring Break program, March 10-17.

Emily Kearns of Derry was named to Biola University's fall 2011 dean's list for academic excellence.

Three sisters were named to the dean's list for academic excellence for the fall 2011 semester at The Johns Hopkins University: Katherine Schwarz, Kelly Schwarz and Megan Schwarz. Katherine Schwarz is majoring in undergraduate engineering and will graduate in May 2015. Kelly Schwarz is majoring in chemical and biomolecular engineering and will graduate in May 2012. Megan Schwarz is majoring in chemical and biomolecular engineering and will graduate in May 2015. They are the daughters of William and Anne Schwarz of Londonderry.

Jessica Lovell of Londonderry was named to the dean's list during the fall 2011 semester at Salve Regina University.

Umer Malik of Londonderry was one of 110 Providence College students who recently spent a week working with Habitat for Humanity, as a part of the college's Alternative Spring Break 2012 program. Malik helped to build affordable homes at a site in Glade Spring, Va.

Austin Caito, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Caito of Londonderry, earned high honors for the winter 2012 term at Phillips Exeter Academy.

Melinda Lei of Londonderry was named a Charles O. Thompson Scholar at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Plymouth State University student Dorothy Haycook of Derry has been named to the "Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities."

Plymouth State University (NH) student Katelyn Yunes of Derry has been named to the "Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities."

Jessica Evans of Londonderry has been inducted into the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society at Western New England University. Evans is a senior majoring in electrical engineering.

Londonderry native Jayson VanBeusichem, a member of the class of 2012 at Stonehill College, was inducted into the Lambda Epsilon Sigma Honor Society.

Londonderry native Kayla Green, a member of the class of 2013 at Stonehill College, was inducted into the Lambda Epsilon Sigma Honor Society.

Keene State College student Allison Bedell of Londonderry was named to "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges." Bedell is majoring in journalism/political science.

Kathleen Lawrence of Derry was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing at Saint Joseph's College of Maine. Lawrence, a registered nurse, is pursuing her bachelor's degree in nursing through the Graduate & Professional Studies division at Saint Joseph's.

Suzanne Below of Derry was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa's International Honor Society at North Shore Community College.

Ainsley Wolfe of Derry received a bachelor of science degree from Lasell College during commencement exercises on May 13. Wolfe majored in hospitality and event management.
