Chinese students visit Pinkerton
Every fall, a contingent of Chinese students visits Pinkerton Academy.
The group is from the Tenggu School in Tianjin, Pinkerton’s official “sister” school for the longstanding China/Pinkerton exchange.
Fourteen students and three adult chaperones, including a principal and teacher, arrived in Derry last week to spend several days seeing how Pinkerton works, visiting classrooms, enjoying activities with host families and taking several trips around the Granite State.
The exchange program has operated since 2004. Every April, Pinkerton sends it own group to visit China. Right now, there are 14 Pinkerton students ready to visit China in 2014.
